Eurotune was founded by a group of individuals with extensive and deep experience in the performance and tuning industry to serve the New Zealand market. Our tunes are developed on a dyno in New Zealand on Aus/NZ spec. vehicles, using local fuel, in local climatic conditions – all critical elements when tuning vehicles for the best driving experience and reliability.

Our ECU remaps are designed to provide an increased level of performance that enhances customers driving experience, whilst maintaining engine and driveline reliability and normal service levels.

Some chip tuning and remapping companies quote higher torque and power and torque figures than we do, but they usually prove to be inaccurate or if actually delivered will likely compromise reliability whilst increasing service and maintenance costs.

The Eurotune Head Office is based in Auckland New Zealand and the dealers have bricks and mortar premises in local communities. We don’t have travelling salespeople selling copied or cut and paste tunes out of the back of their vehicle that they purchased off Ebay, Alibaba, India, China, South Africa or the likes, to unsuspecting consumers who don’t understand what they are purchasing.

POWER TUNE

Eurotune Power Maps have been developed to fully unleash the available power and torque on standard and unmodified vehicles whilst maintaining manufacturer levels of reliability and original service levels.

The Power and Torque gains range from 5% to 35% depending on whether the vehicle is normally aspirated, supercharged, turbocharged, the level of tune originally delivered from the manufacturer, the amount of headroom in the turbo/injectors, and the robustness of the engine/driveline as delivered from the factory. Eurotune provide the ultimate power tunes for standard vehicles which often also provide up to 10% fuel savings depending on the application and driving style.

TOWING TUNE

Eurotune Towing Maps have been developed for Australian and New Zealand customers who tow on regular basis.

Be it a tradesperson with a heavily loaded Ute, or the vehicle that regularly tows the trailer, boat, caravan, horse float or race car -this is the tune for you. These tunes will ensure that safe exhaust gas temperatures are maintained with heavily loaded engines in hilly terrain.

TORQUE MANAGEMENT

Some vehicle manufacturers have torque limiting software embedded in the factory  ECU map. When fitting larger aftermarket turbos and other power adding devices, the factory set torque limiter becomes a barrier to unleashing the planned power and torque from the modifications.

Eurotune are able to turn this function off in the ECU so that the benefits from the fitted aftermarket parts can be realised. If the planned power gains are significant then thought needs to be given to the transmission and gearbox driveline suitability i.e. valve body, auto clutch pack, manual clutch etc.

For reliability and drivability it’s all about matching the driveline components to the new power and torque goals.

TRACTION CONTROL

Some customers use their vehicle for dual purposes – a daily driver during the week, and then circuit racing, drag racing or drift racing in the weekends.

To get the most out of their vehicle at these events, they need the traction control feature set by the manufacturer in the ECU, turned off.

POPS AND BANGS

You’ve heard them before – the cackling, popping and banging of a performance vehicle’s exhaust on deceleration. Its sometimes called a deceleration map, crackle map, anti-lag system, popcorn, exhaust crackle, pop on overrun, exhaust overrun to name a few.

Having a turbo is not a requirement for pops and bangs, since the most important segments are the delays in ignition and fuel cut-off. The only difference between cars with and without a turbo is that turbocharged cars will benefit from the anti-lag feature i.e. boost will be there as soon as you put your foot back on the accelerator as the turbo is still spooled up. Yes we can do this on Diesel vehicles also.

SPEED LIMIT

Most modern vehicles are fitted with Speed Limits embedded in the software for safety reasons. That being said, some customers take their vehicles to the race track be it circuit racing or drag racing.

On the race track drivers want to be able use every bit of speed available but often find themselves hitting the factory imposed speed limiter.

Eurotune are able to remove the speed limiting software to unleash the maximum performance on the track.

START STOP

This function is now fitted on many modern vehicles – you pull up to the traffic lights, put your foot on the brake and the engine stops. Once you release the brake the engine kicks back into life and you’re off again. For those who do a lot of city and stop start driving, this can become annoying, and it puts unnecessary strain and prematurely wears the battery and starter motor. Yes you can turn this function off yourself in most vehicles, however you need to keep turning it off every time you insert the key or start a new journey which can be tiresome.

At Eurotune we can turn this feature Off  permanently so that the only time your engine turns off is when you turn it off.

FACTORY RESET

Maybe you’ve purchased a vehicle that has had some modifications performed on the ECU by an inexperienced person or company, and it’s causing issues with driving and or reliability?
